Gone with the Wind (1939) is one of the greatest classic films that defined American cinema. It films one of the greatest epic of America’s bygone past written by Margaret Mitchell. Directed by Victor Fleming and starring Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Leslie Howard it is a crowning achievement for producer David O. Selznick. This movie received ten academy awards and was acknowledged as the fourth best film in the Epic genre. It depicts a story about a spoiled girl and her hopeless love for a married man in the midst of a Civil war and its aftermath from a white Southern point of view.
