Schindler’s list, a winner of seven Academy awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Score is one of the most critically acclaimed film of Steven Spielberg. It was based on the novel Schindler’s Ark by Thomas Keneally and is a biographical film about OsKar Schindler, a German legend who saves the lives of over thousand Polish Jews from concentration camps during World War II by outwitting Nazi officials through bribes. This movie portrays the shocking and nightmarish holocaust with its gripping performances and masterpieces of art direction scenes. It is supposed to be the most commercially successful black and white film in cinematic history.
