The Ford 2010 Transit Connect has now landed in the US, after their successful initiation in Europe. Designed as a cargo vehicle, the Ford Connect is available both as a passenger model and cargo vehicle. The competition for this five-seat wagon is offered by Honda Element and Chevrolet HHR van. The Duratec-engine propelled vehicle has four-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive. The moderate acceleration theĀ ford transit connect achieves is more than sufficient for the urban drive.

For the safety system, Ford has anti-lock protection for its disc brakes in the front and drum brakes at the rear. Ford Transit is efficient on fuel, much to the delight of the clients. Ford Connect has height adjustable driver seat, with recline and lumbar support making it quite comfortable to drive the vehicle. The passengers also are provided with sufficient leg room to enjoy a cool city ride on the Ford transit. The highlight of the vehicle is that the wagon model does not lose sight on its primary mission and accommodates large volume for cargo space. The passengers in the front seat are provided with airbags from both the rear and the front and the vehicle has undergone successfully crash test for traffic safety on highways.
